Hjalmar Lundbohmsgården

Hjalmar Lundbohmsgården is one of the oldest and most
beautiful buildings in Kiruna. The construction of Hjalmar Lundbohmsgården
started in 1895 and it was used as accommodation for the legendary managing
director of LKAB, Hjalmar Lundbohm. Here you can find the oldest historic
environment in central Kiruna.
In the house you can experience some of the atmosphere from the previous century. You may visit the home that so many known Swedish celebrities have visited: Prince Eugen, Carl Larsson, Anders Zorn, Albert Engström, August Strindberg and many more. Here you will find historic photos from the late 19th- and early 20th-century
in an exhibition by the famous photographer from Kiruna, Borg Mesch. |
